Stone House Preschool is a child-centered, family-oriented preschool
dedicated to research-based early childhood education. Led by highly qualified staff, this ministry of SHPC is dedicated to providing early learners with a strong faith foundation in a warm and loving environment. Curriculum is theme-based, each incorporating spiritual foci, early literacy and mathematics, fine and gross motor skills, social skills and play. Stone House Preschool offers programs for children ages 2 to 5. Each class is team-taught and ratios are lower than state requirements. Stone House Preschool also offers a “Lunch Bugs” program for children on Wednesdays from 12 until 2pm.

Stone House Preschool Updates…
Apparently, Punxatawney Phil thinks we will have 6 more weeks of winter! As long as it
includes snow, we are super excited for that! During this past month, we celebrated many things here in our preschool. We spent two weeks on nutrition and health, including a special focus on dental health. We were reminded that God provides us one body and that we should take care of it by making good choices. The Butterflies were able to host a special visit from Master Brock of Baeplex Family Martial Arts Center right in Norge. He showed them some tricky moves! Every child in our preschool ages 3 and up was provided a free pass to the center! We also celebrated our love for ourselves and one another with Valentine’s Day – each class held a special party with treats and our friends were able to distribute adorable Valentine’s to one another. We rounded out the month of February with the start of our unit on Dr. Seuss! The children really love the Suess books and we are looking forward to sharing his funny stories! Registration update: The Bumblebees and Butterflies are now FULL. There are limited spaces in the remaining classes (Blue and Purple Dragonflies, Grasshoppers).Please don’t hesitate to contact one of our staff members for additional information. 4. ”Grasshoppers” (4′s and 5′s): Monday-Friday 9am-12pm
5. ”Butterflies” (4′s and 5′s): Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am-2pm
