Those of us involved with building this new congregation are NOT primarily interested in building a church for us!  Rather, we are interested in building a church for others.  Certainly, we desire to care for those who call themselves 'members.'  But as we plan and program for our various ministries, we are always asking questions like:  "What might our visitors want or need?" and "How will a visitor respond to this?"

Too many churches become 'holy huddles,' where visitors are unintentionally made to feel unwelcome.  We strive to consider Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 9 -- 'When I am with the Jews, I became as one of them so I can bring them to Christ . . . When I am with the Gentiles, I fit in with them as much as I can . . ."
This is especially clear with regard to our worship services.  We strive to be 'visitor sensitive' in the ways we give God glory and praise.  We still sing some of the great hymns of our faith, but our music is generally contemporary; and while sermons are always rooted and grounded in God's Word, the teaching at Stone House seeks to be relevant.

Visitors are more than welcome to attend some or all of our activities, and if you would ever like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact our offices.
