About the event
We have begun our annual drive for backpacks and gift cards for the students who live in the Burnt Ordinary complex! Each child will receive a backpack and a $25 Walmart gift card to help parents purchase school supplies for the upcoming school year.
This year we have 53 students who have requested a backpack. If you purchase a backpack, please no characters (colors and patterns are great, but please avoid backpacks with Paw Patrol, Superman, etc.). You don't need to wait, buy a backpack when you are shopping! A sign up sheet with student names for backpacks will be at the back of the church if you would like to sign up for a specific student, or you can contact Alex Gruendl if you have any questions.
