OUTREACH
caring for our neighbors, near and far

At Stone House Presbyterian Church, outreach is an extension of our worship and our life together.
We believe in showing up—with meals, supplies, listening ears, and willing hands—wherever there is need. These efforts are rooted in relationship and shaped by a deep commitment to care for our neighbors, near and far.

Grove Ministry
Four times a year, we cook and serve hot meals for 50 guests at the Grove Christian Outreach Center in Williamsburg.
Burnt Ordinary Ministry
On the second Wednesday of each month, we visit seniors at Burnt Ordinary Apartments in Toano, sharing lunch, stories, and holiday celebrations.
Winter Overnight Shelter
Each January, we partner with Williamsburg Presbyterian Church to provide dinner and breakfast for guests of the Community of Faith Mission shelter program.
Backpack & School Supply Drive
Every August, we collect and deliver backpacks and school supplies to children and youth living in the Burnt Ordinary Apartments.
Red Cross Blood Drive
Once a month, the church partners with Chickahominy Masonic Lodge to host a Red Cross Blood Drive at SHPC.
Angel Tree
Each Christmas, we participate in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, providing gifts for 50 children in our community.
St. Olaf Food Pantry
We collect non-perishable food, baby items, and hygiene products to help stock the ecumenical pantry hosted by St. Olaf Catholic Church.
One Great Hour of Sharing
On Palm Sunday and Easter, we receive a special PC(USA) offering that supports ministries of hunger, development, and disaster relief around the world.
Proclaiming Grace Outreach (PGO)
We support PGO, a Christian ministry in New Kent County that offers a thrift shop, food bank, home repair, and car repair services.
