About the event
During Lent, churches in the Upper James City County Ministerium take turns hosting a simple meal and worship service on Wednesday evenings. Food and fellowship begins at 6pm and the service begins at 7pm. On Wednesday, March 4th, Mt. Vernon UMC will be hosting the Lenten service. Rev. Jennifer Andrews-Weckerly, who serves Hickory Neck Episcopal Church, will be preaching.
